A Simple Template for Functional Strength

Hold off on paying $200 a month for a very poorly skilled coach to yell at you until you get rhabdo. You can develop the fundamentals you need for a solid, and yes even functional strength program. Practicing the skill of a few compound movements (“the big four”) will yield more success in the long term than spreading your efforts among several unrelated, and often more technically demanding lifts (such as pretty much any Olympic movement). Start simple, work towards building bigger strength.
